Navigation and interface

This page describes how to sign in, what you will see on the main screen, and how the side menu is organized. The detail of each module lives in the specific audit-lifecycle and configuration pages.

Signing in

Each organization has its own URL with a prefix:

https://<organization>.mawidabp.com/

For example, for an organization named demo:

https://demo.mawidabp.com/

Enter your username and password, and you will land on the main screen.

If the instance is integrated with Active Directory or another identity provider (Entra ID, Google Workspace, LDAP), the sign-in flow redirects to that provider. See the integrations section for detail.

Reset password

If you forgot your password and you are not using a corporate identity provider:

  1. On the sign-in screen, select Forgot your password?
  2. Enter your associated email address.
  3. Mawidabp sends an email with a link to set the new password.

If the instance is integrated with Active Directory, password changes are managed by AD, not by Mawidabp.

Switching organizations

If your user belongs to multiple organizations, you can switch between them without signing out. See Switching organizations.

Main screen (dashboard)

The landing screen shows a dashboard with:

  • Pending findings assigned to the user.
  • Resolved findings recently.
  • Own comments.
  • Findings from the last months (with trend).
  • Most recent comments received.

The auditee sees a reduced view focused only on the findings they care about.

The side menu

The main menu mirrors the application's functional structure. Each block expands a module:

  • Administration — general configuration, users, profiles, organization, best practices, templates, questionnaires. Detail in the Configuration section.
  • Planning — resources, periods, risk assessments, work plans. See Planning.
  • Execution — reviews, findings, workflows, interviews, time summary. See Execution.
  • Conclusion — draft audit reports, final audit reports, and related reports. See Conclusion.
  • Follow-up — pending findings, solved, repeated, approvals, notifications. See Follow-up.
  • Help — access to documentation and support.

The visible modules depend on the user's profile: an auditee only sees Follow-up.

Common actions

Personal profile

In the upper-right corner there is a dropdown menu where you can:

  • Edit your name, last name, and email.
  • Change your password (when there is no AD integration).
  • Sign out.

Search and filters

Most listings (findings, reviews, plans, users) provide:

  • Filters by date, status, owner, tag, and free text.
  • Column sorting.
  • Export to PDF, Excel, or CSV.

Tags

Tags run across the entire application and let you classify findings, reviews, projects, documents, and news. They are the main tool for grouping and reporting. They are defined in Administration → Tags.

Language

Mawidabp supports Spanish by default, with support for other languages through the system's translation files. The language selector lives in the top bar.
